Luca Romano

Luca Romano teaches with an abundance of enthusiasm, knowledge, technique. Not only is Luca an excellent player and teacher, he also has an endless amount of patience!
– Vanessa Williamson (Student)

Luca Romano, originally from Italy, teaches in his dedicated Green Lanes-based studio. He has years of experience of both teaching and working in the music industry. Luca is well known for his dedicated and passionate style of tutoring and as a result, we have represented Luca for many years. Not only is he a fantastic communicator, he’s extremely dedicated and organised. We get so much positive feedback from the students we’ve matched him with!

Luca’s specific tutoring approach focusses on the individual. This allows them to develop their playing and knowledge of music in a way that suits their own particular learning style. So many of Luca’s students find this approach hugely beneficial.

Alongside teaching, Luca has experience both in the studio and on stage as both a producer and performer. Luca has extensive touring experience, and has performed with artists including Ten Fé, You Break You Buy, Raphael Luther and Spy From Moscow.

I really enjoy my lessons with Luca! He is very knowledgable yet makes the lessons friendly and accessible. He really encourages me to push myself and I feel like my level has improved a lot in just a few months. It is great being able to choose a song to work on as it gives me more incentive to learn. – Natalie Dawkins (Student)

Luca Romano holds a BMus (Hons) Degree in Contemporary Music Performance from the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance, a degree in Clinical and Educational Psychology and a RSL Level 6 Diploma in Music Teaching (QFC).

He also recently completed an MMus focussing on music composition which he received from London College of Music.

You can check out our February 2020 interview with Luca right here. Luca goes into lots of interesting detail about his teaching style. We also managed to cram in speaking about his experiences touring and what inspires him the most. Check it out!
